Meet Our Chroniclers

An inhabitant of the Earth system, with a sincere desire to contribute to its conservation. A biologist whose interest in animals, forests, and natural resources led her to join the Museum of Environmental Sciences project, where she became an “apprentice science communicator.” She thus began her journey into creating scientific content focused on museum design and communicating nature conservation strategies from an urban perspective.

Professionally curious, a polymath in the making. Dedicated to the public communication of science by vocation, training, and conviction. Curious about everything, a specialist in nothing. He holds a Master’s degree in Science and Culture Communication from ITESO in Guadalajara. His areas of interest include scientific culture and literacy, space exploration, the challenges of the Anthropocene, the sociocultural impacts of the digital age, and the history of our species' future—all viewed through the lens of scientific skepticism and critical thinking. He is the creator and host of two science communication podcasts. He currently serves as the Coordinator of Outreach and Science Communication at the Museum of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico.

He asks questions about everything, and sometimes finds answers. He has been engaged in science communication—in museums, schools, newspapers, books, and radio programs—for far longer than he would care to admit. His primary interest lies in seeking out (or inventing) seemingly unlikely connections between literature and the sciences—and, in the process, rescuing forgotten figures and stories from the history of scientific imagination in Mexico—and he is a member of the team at the University of Guadalajara’s Museum of Environmental Sciences.
